HENNESSY Unfinished Business Grant 

THE SECOND ROUND OF APPLICATIONS IS OPEN 

A program by Hennessy that provides immediate relief and long-term support to Black, Asian, and Latinx small-business owners. 

Black, Asian, and Latinx business owners have always had to overcome great obstacles to success. And in the era of COVID-19, these individuals are fighting harder than ever against a range of inequalities that stand in their way. 

Hennessy has launched Unfinished Business, a new program that provides urgent funding and access to vital resources for the small business owners who bind our communities together.

Association for Enterprise Opportunity 

Helping Black and Minority Owned Small Business Get Back to Business 

Fiserv is giving back to help small businesses get Back2Business with a program focused on helping to jump-start Black- and minority-owned small businesses in hard-hit communities. Back2Business is designed to help stabilize and grow small businesses, with business consulting services, leading Clover payments technology solutions from Fiserv and financial support for employee payroll, rent or lease payments, operations equipment and resources.  

In partnership with AEO, Fiserv Back2Business Grants for Small Business Program, will award up to $10,000 to Black- and minority-owned businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and social unrest.

Citizens Committee for New York City 

Grantmaking 

Current grantmaking priorities focus on investing in communities hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is particularly ravaging communities of color in our city. Grants are focused on ensuring that small businesses stay open, and that community groups are able to meet the immediate needs of their neighborhoods, including access to food and water, personal protective equipment (PPE), and so much more.

Wish Local Empowerment Program 

Wish is dedicating a $2M dollar fund to give roughly 4,000 Wish Local small business partners financial support. The selected recipients will receive amounts between $500 – $2000. This program will only be open to Black-owned stores, to help promote equality and diversity in American business.

Comcast Rise 

Comcast RISE to give grants to minority business owners, with Black-owned businesses first to apply 

Comcast Corporation launched an initiative to financially support small businesses hit especially hard by the pandemic. In the next three years, the Comcast RISE program will help thousands of business owners with grants, marketing and technology upgrades. 

The next window will open on November 24, 2020 – check back on or after that date to apply!
